Extended Family Vacation

Bula Paul & Ashley and all the wonderful help at Taveuni Palms that made our vacation so incredible!

Kelly and I cannot say enough about the arrangements that you made to accommodate our family group. Ashley, you went to incredible lengths to arrange for our alcoholic beverages and food preferences in advance. Along with providing so much information about the available activities and excursions, that we feel that this pre-planning added a great deal to our vacation experience. Yet we did not lose any of the spontaneity that comes with having days where you can do anything you want! We often split up with part of the family going horseback riding and another group heading to the opposite end of the island for a hike to Bouma Falls. A highlight for the family is our trip to Waitabu (spelling) where we rafted out for snorkeling in the Marine Park. We had so much fun at lunch when they had us all up dancing! Each and every aspect of our vacation was extraordinary! The lodging was first class, the food exceptional and the service and hospitality by the staff beyond our expectations. You served up so many pleasant surprises. We especially appreciated the various dinner settings you arranged around the property. Looking back, I see Taveuni Palms and Taveuni Island as the perfect combination. Onsite, you have privacy and complete relaxation. Offsite, a myriad of activities to enjoy. Kelly will never forget the diving! It’s all he talks about with his friends. I enjoyed the evenings with beautiful sunsets and the variety of foods and settings for dinner. I learned so much from Teila about Fijian culture and from Ishi about Indian food. I particularly enjoyed dressing up in Saris with the other ladies and treasure the pictures we brought back. I regret we cannot travel to Fiji in 2004, but we have the wheels turning for a return trip in 2005.
