Coconut Fish Fritters Our own special blend of fresh fish, coconut,
banana & coriander with fresh mango salsa for dipping.
Fiji Island Dips & Chips A trio of dips - roasted eggplant, coconut
pesto & papaya lime salsa served with homemade dalo, kassava,
breadfruit or roti chips.
Soups
Papaya Soup A Taveuni Palms specialty - fresh homegrown papaya pureed
& delicately blended with coconut cream & spices.
Rourou Soup A leafy green vegetable from the taro plant finely diced
and blended with coconut cream and island spices.
Salads
Fish Kokoda White fresh fish marinated in lime juice, covered in a delicate
coconut cream sauce with onions, tomato & herbs - A real Fijian
classic. Hearts-of-Palm Cut fresh just for you right from the heart of a Fijian
palm tree & marinated in a tomato basil vinaigrette dressing. Mixed Green Salad A bowl of greens topped with vegetables & a selection
of our island specialty homemade dressings (papaya seed, tomato
basil, creamy curry, coconut cream)
Main Courses
Mango Lime Fish Crepes A delicate blend of mango & chilies sautéed in
butter, then wrapped in warm crepes and topped with fresh mango
slices and a twist of lime.
Beef Kebabs Broiled skewers of organic beef fillet laced
with fruits & vegetables, topped with tropical fruit chutney over
a bed of rice.
South Seas Pineapple Chicken A simple blend of sesame oil, soy sauce,
white wine & curry sauces marinated with fresh herbs & topped
with seared pineapple & slivered almonds.
Tempura Sesame Coral Trout Deep-fried fresh fish rolled
in sesame seeds & topped with a mild chili sauce served with fresh
seasoned vegetables.
